Our client based in Bedfordshire are looking for an experienced Head of Design Manager. The ideal candidate must have previous Construction/Drainage Industry experience.
£50K, Hybrid work is offered, excellent benefits included, Permanent role based in Bedford
Duties:
- Lead a team, to drive continuous improvement within Design.
- Take escalation calls when required.
- Allocate tasks/orders/projects within the team.
- Performance and Sickness Absence Management.
- Conduct performance reviews, 121’s and appraisals.
- Assistance with Technical/Design Division.
- Attend Sales and Operations meetings.
- Keep up to date with Building Regulations.
Knowledge of X3, AutoCAD, inventor, Microsoft – Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Hydraulics, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, CRM, Engineering PDM Control procedures.
