Our client in Milton Keynes is looking for a Fabricator/Welder for a full-time position. They are one of the fastest growing precision engineering and manufacturing companies in the UK, specialising in the design, manufacture and assembly of precision engineered parts, components, and devices.
Starting Salary: £33k
Expected hours: 40 per week
Shifts: Continuous 6am-2pm, Rotational 6am-2pm – 2-10pm, Nights 6pm-2am
Overtime regularly available.
Primary Purpose: Weld and fabricate thin gauge items from different materials working in collaboration with the Welding team leader, Production Engineering, and the Quality Department
Experience required:
- MIG welding: 3 years
- Fabrication: 3 years
- Good appreciation of Engineering Quality requirements
- Good Understanding of modern welding sets
- Computerisation in a workplace
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent In Welding or city of Guilds certification
